Lac Le Jeune Park Beach

This 47 hectare provincial park is paradise for nature enthusiasts and anglers alike. A lakeside trail leads through the lodgepole pine forest where visitors will find a wide array of flora and fauna.


LOCATION

The Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park is located 37 km south of Kamloops, British Columbia, off of Highway 5 or 47 km north of Merritt also off of Highway 5.

PARK FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Lac Le Jeune Park Picnic AreaCamping - The campground at Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park contains 144 sites. An amphitheatre, picnic area, playground, sani-station and telephones are located nearby.

Fishing & Boating - Lac Le Jeune is known for its spectacular canoeing and the "fighting Rainbow Trout". A boat launch is located near the campground.

Hiking & Trails - A trail is located along the lake. There are 160 km of trails at nearby Stake-McConnell Recreational Area. They are maintained in the winter for cross-country skiing and in the summer for hiking and mountain biking.

COMMERCIAL FACILITIES

Gas, propane, food and other necessary supplies can be found in nearby Kamloops, Merritt or Logan Lake.
