Report: Good spring fishing for Rainbow trout and Cutthroat
which usually average from 1/2 to 1 lb. Good numbers of Gammarus
shrimp and Chironomids are present in the lake. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
The scenic mountains surrounding the lake are covered with Douglas
fir and Lodgepole pine. The surrounding area offers a wide range
of outdoor experiences.
The inlet creek area is swampy and full of fallen trees and brush.
Lake - Cat Lake, which is accessed via a rough road
just south of Brohm, involves a short hike, however this Rainbow
stocked lake contains good numbers of trout in the 1/2 lb. range.
Levette and Hut Lakes - Evans, Levette and Hut lakes
are located west of Brohm (turn off Hwy. #99 at Cheekye) and support
a fair to good Rainbow fishery for trout up to 1-1/2 lbs. The
road to Hut and Levette is rough and requires a truck or 4wd vehicle.
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
fishing a new lake.
