There are two motels and one hotel in Clinton plus a number of campsites,
resorts and guest ranches nearby.
Access:
Clinton is located on Highway 97, 36 km (22 mi.) north of Cache
Creek and 80 km (50 mi.) south of 100
Mile House. A well maintained route, Highway 97 is the major north
south link of Southern BC with Northern
BC, the Yukon and Alaska. Whether you travel by car, bus or train
you will be afforded an ever changing vista.
Clinton
is also a stop of BC Rail as it travels from Vancouver
to British Columbia's northern communities. The scenic trip from Vancouver
to Clinton covers a wide variety of countryside from tall snowcapped mountains
to almost desert conditions and then on to the forested hills of the Clinton
area.
