Location: From Williams Lake take Highway 20 to Anahim Lake. Kappan Lake is located about 15 km (9.3 mi) south of Anahim Lake on a good gravel road.

Size 345.74 ha. (854.3 ac.) Shoal 66.33 ha. (163.8 ac.)
Mean Depth 12.6 m. (41.3 ft.) Max. Depth 30.48 m. (100 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout Fish Stocked Rainbow Trout
Angler Usage High Elevation 1113 m. (3650 ft.)
Ice Over November - May T.D.S. 60 mg/L

Resorts & Campsites: A Forest Service Campsite is located at both the east and west sides of the lake. The east side has the larger campsite providing boat launching, picnic and camping area plus a parking area while the west side campsite has more difficult entry and is only suitable for cartop launching. Full facilities, accommodations and services are available at Anahim Lake.

Fishing Report: This 4 mile long lake contains only wild stock rainbow trout.
Be sure to visit Fishbc.com for angling information!

Viewscape: The moderately steep mountains covered in spruce and lodgepole pine provide an aesthetically pleasing backdrop to the lake. Stands of alder, trembling aspen and willow can be found closer to the lake.

Shoreline: The shoreline is mostly soil with a few rocky outcrops.
