There is a 400 m (1312 ft) walk to the lakeshore of this small wild stock lake. Size 59.30 ha. (146.47 acres.) Shoal 47.25 ha. (116.71 acres.) Mean Depth 3.8 m.(12.46 ft.) Max. Depth 7.0 m. (23 ft.) Viewscape: The flat country surrounding the lake is covered with a coniferous forest broken up with areas of meadows. Shoreline: The shallow sloping shore, covered with deciduous forest, gradually leads to a coniferous forest. To the north-west, south and south-east there are a number of hay meadows in evidence. The actual shore/beach is mainly silt or mud, occasionally with small amounts of gravel.
