Report: Rehabilitated in September 1985 and later stocked
with Rainbows, fishing is considered a hit and miss proposition
at Holstein. There have been large trout seen, but up to date fishing
reports can be found by contacting the Fish and Wildlife department
in the city of Penticton or at a local resort or fly and tackle
shop. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
Lake - Kathy Lake is a small lake with a surface area
of 6 ha. (15 ac.), which can be found a few minutes to the west
of Holstein. Kathy provides both a Brook and Rainbow fishery with
good catch rate success. A small 3 vehicle BCFS campsite is available
at the lake.
Hagquist and Siglet Lake - Hagquist and Siglet are
fly only lakes located north of Holstein. These small lakes support
Rainbow fisheries and both have small BCFS campsites with rough
accesses and cartop boat launching.
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
fishing a new lake.
