Fishing
Report: An excellent lake. Kloacut is highly rated by
fishermen. Wild rainbows up to 8 lbs and sometimes even larger taken
on light spinning and trolling gear. Kloacut is also reported to
be a good flyfishing lake. June and September are the best months.
During the summer, Kloacut may slow down, but it is always worth
a try. Subject to winterkill. Up to date info can be obtained at
Williams Lake or at the general store at Lee's Corner.

Lakes
Fletcher
Lake - Fletcher Lake is located on the road to Kloacut.
Situated 26 km (16.12 mi) south of Hanceville, accommodations,
boat rentals and some services are available. Fletcher Lake also
has a small grassy BCFS campsite. Car top boats cab be launched.
6 to 10 lb wild rainbows are caught fairly consistently, but rainbows
in the 2 to 3 lb range are more the norm. Fletcher can be moody,
but definately worth trying May through October. A Department
of Fisheries spawning enhancement program should ensure a bright
future for this lake.
Note:
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
fishing a new lake.
