Grouse Mountain:

Just fifteen minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain offers the visitor night skiing, a day lodge, a ski shop and rentals, a ski school, restaurants and pubs, helicopter tours, sleigh rides, The Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife, and a 91.5m (300ft.) snowboard pipe and terrain park. The mountain may be accessed via highway 1 at the Capilano Road Exit in North Vancouver, from downtown Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge and Marine Drive, then left on Capilano Road for 2.7 km (1.7 miles) or by public transit.

Cypress Mountain:

Cypress Mountain is located 12 km (7.5 miles) off of the Trans Canada Highway #1 in West Vancouver. It is a 26 minute drive from downtown Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge and Taylor Way. Night skiing, snowboarding, extensive cross-country ski trails, a day lodge, ski school, ski shop and rentals, restaurants and pubs are just some of the hill's attractions.

Manning Park Resort:

Manning Park Resort, 68km (42mi) from Hope, offers services such as snowboarding, cross country ski trails, a ski shop and rentals, a ski school, day care, a daylodge, restaurants and pubs, a grocery store, conference rooms and near-mountain accommodation. The park is located west of Vancouver 209 km (130 miles) via Highway 3 or 177 km (110 miles) from Penticton also via Highway 3. The ski area is 10 km (6.2 miles) from the highway.

Mount Seymour in North Vancouver offers visitors snowboarding, night skiing facilities, a day lodge, a ski school, day care, a snowshoeing program, restaurants and pubs. Access from Vancouver is via Hastings Street east over the Second Narrows Bridge then take the third exit and follow the signs for 5 minutes to the mountain. The McDonald's northwest 98 Express bus makes supervised runs to Mount seymour on weekends and holidays.

Mt. Baker offers visitors exceptional scenery and conditions, a rental and repair shop, day lodges, restaurants and pubs. Accommodation is found in nearby Glacier and Bellingham. The resort is located east of Vancouver approximately 2 hours via the Trans Canada Highway #1. Follow the Huntington/Sumas exit and cross the Canada/USA border to Sumas then head through town and take the east turnoff onto #547 then #542 through the town of Glacier to the ski area.
