Location:
Whitetail Lake is located not far from Fairmont Hot Springs, in
the BC Rockies Region of British Columbia, Canada, 35 km (22 mi)
west of Canal Flats via the Findlay Creek Road.
Resorts
& Campsites:
Camping facilities and a cartop boat launch are available at Whitetail
Lake. The boat-only access campground on the eastern shore is the
nicest on Whitetail Lake.

Fishing
Report: Numerous marl flats provide the visitor with
an excellent fly fishing oppurtunity particularily for rainbow trout
which are resident in the Whitetail Lake. Chironomids, dragonflies
and grey Callibaetis mayfly hatches occur during June and July.
Try fishing the edge of the marl flats with leech, dragonfly nymphs,
damselfly nymphs and shrimp patterns for good results.
