Location: From the city of Kelowna, travel east on Hwy. #33. Turn east off Hwy. #33 at Trapping Creek (just south of the Arlington Lakes exit). Follow this road for approximately 14 km. (8.7 mi.). Turn right onto the Lassie Lake Road and follow for 2 km. (1.3 mi.) Turn east onto the State access road and keeping left travel for 10 km. (6.2 mi.) passing the Sandrift Lakes. State Lake Road BCFS campsite can be found just beyond the Sandrift Lakes and marks the trail head for a final 2 km. (1.2 mi.) hike into State Lake. The road to State may be very rough depending on weather conditions.

Resorts & Campsites: State Lake Road BCFS campsite can be found at the trail head of State Lake. This is a small, well treed site. At the lake itself, another small BCFS campsite can also be found.
