Location:
From the town of Houston travel
west on Hwy. #16. Turn south (left) onto the Morice River Forest
Service Road. Stay on this road until you get to the Morice-Owen
Forest Service Road. Turn onto the Morice-Owen Forest Service
Road and follow it to Owen Lake.
Resorts
& Campsites:
Located on the southwest side of the lake is a wilderness lodge
which has lodge rooms and cabins with cooking facilities. A BCFS
campsite can also be found at the lake.

Fishing
Report: Owen supports a fishery for both Rainbow trout
and Lake Char. Rainbows can reach up to 2 lbs., while the Lake
Char are capable of going to 20+ lbs. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com

Nadina
Lake - Nadina, an excellent wild Rainbow lake, is
located southwest of Owen and can be reached by taking the Tahtsa
Lake Forest Service Road. Famous for its wild Rainbow trout
which sometimes reach up to 10+ lbs., Nadina also provides fishermen
with a good Kokanee fishery. Flies work well however trolling
with spoons, plugs and spinners is the most popular method used
for catching the big Rainbows.
Newcombe
Lake - Newcombe Lake, located northwest of Nadina
is linked via the Nadina River. Newcombe also contains an excellent
wild Rainbow trout fishery.
