Location: St. Mary Lake is located on Saltspring Island in the BC Gulf Islands. Regular ferry service to the island is available from Schwartz Bay on Vancouver Island to Fulford Harbour, Duncan on Vancouver Island to Vesuvius Bay and Tsawassen south of Vancouver, BC to Long Harbour. Nearby Lakes Cusheon Lake - Cusheon is located on Satlspring Island halfway between the communities of Fulford Harbour and Ganges and contains smallmouth bass and cutthroat trout which are stocked regularily. Stowell Lake - Stowell is a small Saltspring Island lake with cutthroat trout reaching sizes of 1.4 kg (3 lb) and is located 2 km (1.2 mi) north of Fulford Harbour via Beaver Point Road. Weston Lake - Weston Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and steelhead. Fly and light tackle are known to work well.
