Fishing
Report: The lake provides excellent fly fishing oppurtunities
for both rainbow and cutthroat trout. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com

Somenos
Lake - Cowichan Lake provides numerous resorts,
motels and campsites and excellent angling for Dolly Varden,
kokanee, rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout.
Mayo
Lake - Mayo Lake is located 17 km (10.5 mi) west
of Duncan and is stocked with rainbow trout.
Mesachie
Lake - Mesachie Lake is a tributary to Cowichan
Lake off of the southern end. April-June and September-October
are the best time to try for Dolly Varden, kokanee, cutthroat
and rainbow trout which are resident in the lake.
Tuck
Lake - Tuck Lake is located 40 km (25 mi) west of
Lake Cowichan village and contains cutthroat and rainbow trout
of up to 1 kg (2 lb).
