Fishing
Report: Dairy is sometimes subjected to winterkill, however
when this condition is absent for a couple years fishing can be
very exciting. Stocked with Rainbows annually, these trout will
often reach 3 lbs. or larger. Dairy, because of its elevation, fishes
well throughout the summer months. 3 small unnamed lakes can be
found near Dairy and are well worth your time to try them out because
the rewards could be great.

Duffy Lake - Duffy Lake, a small lake of 23 ha. (57
ac.), at an elevation of 1160 m. (3805 ft.), is located about
5 km. (3 mi.) northwest of Dairy. Extensive shoal areas extend
from the shoreline and then drops off to a deep centre. Duffy
is stocked yearly with Rainbows and is considered a very good
family lake that will often produce trout up to 3 lbs. The lake
has a 30 vehicle BCFS campsite with cartop boat launching. Dominic
Lake, located just south of Dairy Lake, is 35 ha. (86 ac.) in
size and lies at an elevation of 1525 m. (5002 ft.). A resort
with cabins can be found on the lake. Rainbows are stocked annually
and fishing action for smaller trout is fast and consistent throughout
