Ospray Lodge is situated in Tofino, on the west coast
of Vancouver Island British Columbia … and nestled
next to the Clayoquot World Biosphere Preserve. Our bed
and breakfast lodge accommodations, and our well known
salmon & halibut sport fishing operation, Ospray Fishing
Charters, are strategically situated near the most productive
fishing grounds and coastal recreation areas available.
Since
1987 our focus at Ospray Fishing Charters has been to deliver
you the most memorable and highest quality Tofino fishing
charters possible … and since we have incorporated our
freshly refurbished Tofino accommodations, we are now a full
fledged fishing lodge!
Tofino, and the west coast of Vancouver Island, is well known
as the main feeding and migratory destination for the largest
runs of Chinook salmon (King) and Coho salmon (Silver) on
the south coast. Our vast Tofino Halibut fishing grounds have
become famous for their exciting and consistent production.
Whether you're a first timer, or an experienced angler, our
friendly veteran guides at Ospray Fishing Charters will teach
and assist you to experience salmon and halibut fishing at
its best.
Our
Tofino fishing charters are offered from early March until
the end of October with our peak season being May thru September
for Chinook (King) Salmon and July thru October for Coho (Silver)
Salmon.
Ospray Fishing Charters provides your best value, with
experienced high liner guides piloting the areas largest and
most comfortable boats for the same price as our competition.
All ocean fishing is done from safe, comfortable cruiser style
boats equipped with convertible soft tops and toilets. We
use electric downriggers for trolling but offer the light
tackle, cut plug, mooching option in season as well as jigging.
Tofino Ospray Lodge is an intimate Bed and Breakfast
style facility. As our guest, you'll appreciate our west coast
hospitality. The convenient in-town location of our lodge
in Tofino is also just strides away from most restaurants,
lounges, spas, shopping and marine activity centre. Our comfortable
and intimate non-smoking bed & breakfast, which can accommodate
up to 9 people, is located in the heart of Tofino, BC …
and you have the choice between two double rooms and a two
bedroom suite. All rooms include a full breakfast in the dining
room, private entrances, sundeck with BBQ and crab cooker,
guest lounge with cable TV, a fridge, and wireless internet.
