Our
guest ranch is in the foothills of Tod Mountain and we invite
you to experience the western vacation of your dreams. At
Tod Mountain Ranch we specialize in adult oriented horseback
riding vacations for people who share a love of horses and
adventure in the great outdoors.
What could be better than a day spent in the saddle exploring
mountain trails and breathing in fresh mountain air, followed
by a soak in our hot tub as the sun sets over Tod Mountain
just north of Kamloops? At Tod Mountain Ranch we invite you
to enjoy our delicious home cooked meals, share a drink and
stories with new found friends, and then end the day competing
at shuffleboard … or try your hand at cards before you
fall into bed in the rustic luxury of your cabin.
Tod Mountain Ranch is a small, cozy facility in a setting
that is luxuriously rustic. Buildings have a natural, rustic
look to them and the services and amenities are high quality,
with a touch of luxury. We can accommodate 16 guests in our
comfortable cabins that are furnished with hand constructed
custom-designed log furniture and filled with comfortable
furnishings and high-end amenities … along with your
own private bathroom. Guests share a western style living,
dining and games area in the main lodge.
Wholesome,
quality meals are served three times each day in our dining
room. The menu has an emphasis on seasonal produce from the
BC Interior and Thompson / Nicola region … as well as
BC wines and Canadian beers.
Of course horseback riding is the main activity here at the
Tod Mountain Ranch. The wide variety of rides and trails available
in the area around Tod Mountain means we can cater to all
levels of experience. Our horses are well trained and experienced,
and all rides are led by our experienced wranglers and trail
guides.
The
mountains around the ranch house offer an extensive network
of active and inactive logging roads as well as cattle trails
and hiking trails through the bush to nearby lakes and streams
and up into the alpine. In addition to the horseback riding,
there are a variety of marked trails for guests who would
like to hike or mountain bike through the area … or to
enjoy snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Our
lodge is at the heart of the activity at Tod Mountain
Ranch … with breathtaking views down Louis Creek
Valley. This is the place where we'll gather for meals,
activities and socializing when they're not out on the
trail. Our dress code is casual - all the time - so
come spend your vacation with us and live the Cowboy
dream.
