Quaaout Lodge & Talking Rock Golf Course is the pride of the Little Shuswap Indian Band. Situated on the south shore of Little Shuswap Lake, we are located midway between Vancouver & Calgary. We are just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from the Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from the Okanagan community of Kelowna and the Kelowna International Airport.

The Lodge underwent a 4 month renovation in 2010 to bring it to a Canada Select 4 ½ star rating, which included re-designing all hotel guest rooms, our restaurant, Jack Sam's and hotel exterior. Balconies were added to all rooms and suites for our guests to enjoy the view of the lake and surrounding woods. The Lodge is open for reservations daily, taking bookings for individual travelers, banquets, groups, meetings and golf.

At the Quaaout Lodge we feature an indoor pool & whirlpool along with a fully equipped fitness room, plus we have a Conference Centre with 4 meeting / banquet rooms. There's also a private beach with boat launch on Little Shuswap Lake, and you can enjoy swimming, boating, biking, golf, fishing, trekking, and just relaxing on the beach. Cross country skiing can also be arranged, and Whitewater Rafting and ATV adventures are nearby

Guest Rooms & Suites
Each room has its own balcony or patio with lake views to watch the setting sun over the mountains reflected on the lake. Rest your head with sounds of nature while you slumber in your choice of Standard rooms with two queen beds or one King bed, Deluxe room with King bed, or Suites with separate sitting areas such as our lake front Jacuzzi Suite, the Presidential Suite or our Honeymoon Suite, all with fireplaces.

Talking Rock Golf Course
Talking Rock Golf Course opened in August 2007 and is becoming a mature and a world renowned course that has a calibre leaving you wanting to take the challenge over and over again. Whether you are advanced in your game or in the learning stages, our course offers a challenge for everyone. The first hole begins just across the lane from the front entrance of the Lodge and completes with the last hole played along the shores of Little Shuswap Lake.

Views from the upper holes are breathtaking and a camera is a must as panoramic views are available in both eastern and western directions. Foliage is left natural to the area and wild life is occasionally seen in the early tee off times and sometimes during the late afternoon. A 16-acre driving range academy completes this resort experience for golfers of all skills and abilities. Our packages include Group Lesson with Golf Professional, Breakfast, Lunch, Golf with cart, Golf Gift and Deluxe Accommodations for two.

Dining
Jack Sam's Restaurant offers a beautiful view of Little Shuswap Lake and Talking Rock Golf Course. Our Executive Chef has designed menu selections to delight all and provides the fare expected at a world class hotel. Guests will find delicacies on the dinner and catering menus which honour the 1st Nations traditions of the region such as Venison, Cedar Board Salmon Steak, Buffalo Ragout and our traditional "Chicken or Salmon" in Clay (24hrs notice required) to name just a few.
