us for wildlife viewing, whale wathcing, Bear wathcing and wilderness adventure charter tours
on British Columbia’s West Coast, Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands), Alaska and the Vancouver, BC, area. Experience
the West Coast while enjoying the privacy, comfort, luxury accommodations
and gourmet cuisine, on board Great Bear II.

We invite you to take a nautical cruise to British Columbia’s
most remote and spectacular wilderness locations. When our paths
cross with nature’s best: Grizzly bears feeding on sedges
or salmon…Spirit bears feasting on berries or fish…Humpback whales bubble net feeding…the towering trees of British Columbia's
Great Bear Rainforest…a Peregrine falcon in flight…a
meadow carpeted in wildflowers…OR we are invited to a First Nations feast, we have time to stop, for as long as we like, and
savour these life changing moments.
Late May and June finds us Grizzly bear viewing, bird watching
and enjoying the endless waterfalls and carpets of wildflowers
in "Magnificent Inlets of the Grizzly". Many
animals make these inlets their home in spring, as they raise
their young. It is on the lush, green estuaries of these inlets,
framed in snow-capped mountains, that we have often witnessed
the tenderness of a mother Grizzly bear with tiny bear cubs and
a brood of tiny Common Mergansers perched atop their mother’s
back at the river’s edge. Long summer days are spent in "Haida Gwaii, the Queen Charlotte Islands", in Gwaii Haanas
National Park Reserve, enjoying the biodiversity of these islands
and speaking with the Haida Watchmen about their amazing First Nations culture and art.
In late August and September, "Islands of the Spirit Bear, Waters of the Humpbacks", offer unparalleled BC
wildlife viewing and whale watching and a chance for Spirit Bear
viewing as these elusive bears come to feed on ripening berries
and spawning Pacific salmon. Witness awesome whale watching displays
of Humpback whale behaviour: full breaches, tail lobbing and bubblenet
feeding. As we leave the north coast of British Columbia and follow
the Inside Passage south, join us for our 9 day “Islands of
the Spirit Bear / Inside Passage". This awe-inspiring
trip through the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest is a trip

Back in our home port of Vancouver, BC, we are ready to
welcome you aboard for a few hours tour, a full day cruise or
