In operation since 1993 we offer kayak paddles and tours, along instruction and rentals in the Greater Vancouver area and along the Sunshine Coast. At Natural West Coast Adventures we love nature and enjoy nothing more than being outdoors on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada … we're friendly, outgoing people who are hooked on kayaking. At Natural West Coast Adventures we pride ourselves on providing quality tours and instructional programs to make your time paddling with us a memorable one. Register for one of our classes or tours to experience friendly, safe and attentive service. Our short paddles take place in the Semiahmoo / Boundary Bay area of White Rock. These shorter 3 hour paddles in the morning or evening let you get out onto the water without the time and endurance demands of a full day tour. Guided paddles are safe … and a great way to meet other like minded outdoor enthusiasts and practice your kayak skills. Our guided day tours at Natural West Coast Adventures are designed for the novice to seasoned paddler. From our location in the Greater Vancouver area you'll see British Columbia's backyard playground --- without the extended travel required for multiple day tours. Paddle with like minded outdoor enthusiasts and explore spectacular scenery and view local wildlife. Spend a day paddling some of B.C.'s finest waterways including the Harrison River and the Squamish River Estuary. Extended tours of up to 5 days are also available as we explore Hotham Sound located on the Sunshine Coast - commonly referred to as "Awesome Sound". This 4 day adventure explores the area around the Sound each day as you paddle amidst a steep banked foreshore to view the variety of sea life that is found in the many bays… and warm water basins common in the area. The Harmony Islands are a great destination for a day trip and afternoon of swimming or snorkeling … viewing the majesty of this fiord and all the spectacular scenery … and enjoying the great fishing or snorkeling with them! This is the perfect holiday destination! At Natural West Coast Adventures we are pleased to also provide rentals of quality kayaks for as little as a half day right up to a week or more. Your kayak rental includes a Canadian Coast Guard approved PFD, paddle float, bilge pump, spray skirt, paddle and spare, whistle & throw bag. We also offer Instructional courses to teach basic and intermediate kayak skills, roll-over techniques, refresher courses, as well as kayaking for kids.
