Bay Resort offers year round family recreation in one of BC's
most spectacular natural settings. Spend your summer days
viewing wildlife, trout fishing, boating, hiking, biking or
swimming. In winter, enjoy snowmobiling, skating, ice-fishing,
cross-country skiing, snow shoeing or take a walk in the powdery-fresh
snow and breathe in the crisp mountain air. At Moondance Bay
Resort on Bridge Lake you'll also enjoy moonlight walks under
the stars, and relax in our private, deluxe lakefront cabins,
fully-furnished for your comfort. Moondance Bay Resort, just
of Highway 24 in the south Cariboo is a perfect escape for
the whole family.
Moondance Bay Resort, near 100 Mile House, offers private
cabins with a view of Bridge Lake that are just steps from
the lakeshore, as well as clean lakeside Rv sites and campsites.
Our cabins are heated and include furnishings, bedding and
linens (sheets & towels), and are equipped with a coffee
maker, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans and utensils.
Enjoy the view of Bridge Lake, or wildlife, from your deck
chairs. We have seven cabins available to you're your needs,
all named after local lakes in our South Cariboo location,
and reservations are highly recommended. Our lakeside campsites
include the use of picnic tables and fire pits. Clean showers,
washrooms and laundry facilities and a public telephone are
steps away in our spacious and modern Showerhouse.
Located along BC Highway 24 (the "Fishing Highway"),
Bridge Lake is just one of over 125 lakes in the area, and
is well-known for impressive freshwater fishing. Our lake
is home to ling cod, lake trout (char) and rainbow trout,
as well as Kokanee, with mature fish ranging from 3 to 5 lbs.
Fishermen who want to experience the thrill of a big fish
seek out our Lake Trout. These huge fish enjoy the deep cool
waters of Bridge Lake and can grow to enormous sizes. The
colourful and feisty stocked Rainbow Trout in Bridge Lake
make excellent fly fishing sports fish. At Moondance Bay Resort
we can also provide you with boat and motor rentals, life
jackets, boat launching and docks
tackle, flies, bait,
ice, gas & oil are available
along with two fish
cleaning stations. Local fish guides can also be arranged
upon request.

In the Spring and Summer, enjoy the wonderful array of wildflowers

Enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking and peddle boating on Bridge
Lake, or one of the other 125 lakes in the Interlake's area
of Highway 24, providing endless opportunities for freshwater
enthusiasts. Look up at the brilliant stars in the land known
as 'big sky' country, and watch the moonlight as it dances
on the peaceful waters of Bridge Lake.
