The Island Adventure Centre office is located at the Heriot Bay Inn on spectacular Quadra Island, British Columbia, Canada. Quadra Island is the most populated of BC's Northern Gulf Islands and the Discovery Islands -- a stunning archipelago of islands located between Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia.

These islands, that Island Adventure Centre calls home, enjoy a mild climate benefiting from the rain shadow effect of the Strathcona Park Mountains on Vancouver Island. The dramatic mountains and fjordal inlets of British Columbia's mainland coast are part of one of the world's greatest wilderness areas and are home to a wide range of BC wildlife. Eagles, grizzly bears, sea lions, dolphins and orca whales make their home here feeding on the rushing tidal waters.

Our tour and charter boats are cruiser class, heated, and are equipped with washrooms aboard. At Island Adventure Centre we've set the standard for comfortable Adventure and Eco Tours as well as Fishing Charters.

By staying right in the center of the action, on Quadra Island you'll find hiking trails and island scenery right in your back yard! This area is a sea kayaking paradise and the Island Adventure Centre will cater to your sea kayaking tour needs in style or help you launch your own self-powered sea kayaking adventure. Our charter boats can transport up to eight kayaks. For adventure enthusiasts with their own agendas, we offer custom tours and transport through the breathtaking island wilderness between Campbell River, Vancouver Island and the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.

The Discovery Islands, adjacent to Campbell River, offer excellent opportunites for BC's famous salmon fishing. The Island Adventure Centre puts you on the water with some of the island's best fishing guides to offer you a stellar BC saltwater and salmon fishing experience - including saltwater flyfishing. Our guides have been fishing this area often for decades and know the area, and the fish, intimately.

Our adventure packages including tours and accommodations are based from the Heriot Bay Inn, which offers rooms, suites & cabins, an RV Park & a campground with oceanfront tent camping sites. Packages include lodgings as well as eco tours and fishing charter packages.
