Sumac Ridge Estate WinerySumac Ridge Estate Winery has been a pioneer in the Canadian wine industry ( a first of among many achievements was producing the first sparkling wine in BC made in the traditional method - Steller’s Jay) Steller's Jay now has become a brand that stands on its own incorporating all the winery’s sparkling wine collection including the playful sparkling gewürztraminer.

The winery location also houses the premium Black Sage Vineyard™ red wines known for their big, bold yet approachable personality. Visitors will also feel at home with our easy drinking Sumac Ridge Private Reserve brand like the Private Reserve Gewürztraminer. This wine has been a local favorite and one of the winery’s flagships in the winery’s 30 + years of operation. The winery is open year round offering structured tastings, an inviting wine boutique along with seasonal tours. You can also stay and enjoy a picnic selection highlighting some terrific local products along with a bottle of wine on our patio. The patio is open seasonally and weather permitting.

See Ya Later Ranch WinerySee Ya Later Ranch – The wines of See Ya Later wines celebrate the lively legacy of Major Hugh Fraser, a colourful character who purchased the property high above the Okanagan Valley in 1919. The Major found the freedom and open skies of the valley the perfect complement to his fun-loving personality and fondness for lavish parties. Here near the town of Okanagan Falls he planted vines and seeded a legend. The ranch was his home for more than forty-five years, each one adding to a rich mix of truth and fiction involving elaborate gatherings, plenty of dogs and a wife from London who on seeing the rustic surroundings left both the Valley and a three-word note:“See ya later.”

Experience the rich and playful history with simple yet informative wine tasting (portion of the tasting fees going the BCSPCA) . Stay and enjoy our “Off Leash” experience that immerses you into the heart of the vineyard for a winery tour, tasting and picnic lunch. For those with a little less time enjoy lunch on the outdoor patio (the stunning vineyard, mountains and lake views may make you change your mind). Whether it’s a brief visit or you have the whole afternoon, there is plenty to offer and this little gem of a winery.
