Echo Lake Fishing Resort is located on Echo Lake, one of the most picturesque emerald-green lakes in Canada’s westernmost province … British Columbia. At Echo Lake Fishing Resort, our BC wilderness experience, set amidst towering, 'echo'ing mountains and old growth timber of Echo Lake Provincial Park, is only a short drive from the City of Vernon, gateway to the North Okanagan in British Columbia.

Echo Lake Fishing Resort features seven lakeside housekeeping cabins set amongst the tall timbers, each with its own wharf right on Echo Lake. Our cabins come fully furnished and include electricity for lights, a free-standing propane fireplace for heat, propane cook stove, refrigerator, cold running water, dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, picnic table, firepit, and central shower and flush toilet.

If you prefer a BC camping experience, Echo Lake Fishing Resort features 35 sites, some situated right along the lake. Most sites are shaded by the old growth timber and all have a picnic table and firepit. Outdoor facilities are provided throughout the resort, water is supplied at taps nearby, and 15 amp power is available at some of our campsites.

Echo Lake is stocked with twenty thousand Rainbow Trout and Gerard Rainbow every year – and there are Kokanee and Lake Trout in the lake which spawn naturally on the lakeshores. The lake is 4km long and 1km wide at its widest point, with depths from 100 to 220 feet in the center. The lake is fed by 55 springs, has no inlet or outlet, and is excellent for all types of fishing.
