Expect the finest native trout lodge! We offer a valley of six lakes where the river runs through. No slow-down in catching in the summer due to the snowcap melt at 4200 feet. In a setting more beautiful than words can describe catch fish till your arms drop off in an environment yet untouched by civilization, a place uninhabited except by wild animals and the occasional angler ....

Our freshwaters are definitely a factor to your great fly fishing pleasures at Crazy Bear Lake Lodge. All sourrounding waters are all connected by a stream, the headwaters of the famous Atnarko River. The stream, connecting all six, offers plenty of excellent angling opportunities. For the hiker and fishermen, opportunities for the even more adventurous are available with superior fly fishing in nearby stillwaters within a 3 mi hike.

Our wild rainbow trout are rated one of the top five sport fish in North America because of the hard fight they put up. All waters offer exceptional fishing for native wild rainbow trout up to 24 inches.

In addition to fly fishing, Crazy Bear Lake Lodge also offers various outdoor activities: Old growth pine forest, rugged snow capped mountains and glaciers, spectacular waterfall and an occasional sandy beach. This is the background setting you have to enjoy holiday activities. You can choose to fish, hike, canoe, sightsee, or just kick back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful British Columbia surroundings.

For those of you who enjoy viewing the local wildlife, moose, deer, caribou, black bear, eagles and mountain goats all make their homes here. Ever considered spending a night in a real native tee-pee? This is just one of many adventures you can experience.
