Here, every season provides you with the pure nature of the Canadian wilderness… the incredible view of forests, water and mountains. Our beautiful 4 Star Lodge, built from huge cedar trees, provides great service and comfort. The incredible view of the Coast Mountains showcases the endless forests, and a stay in our "Canada Select" 4 Star Lodge in the Chilcotin, one of the most remote and beautiful parts of British Columbia, will become a vacation you'll never forget. Big Creek Lodge was built from white cedar, and accommodates ten guests in five very comfortable rooms. All rooms have a cozy interior, floor heating, and a private bathroom with a hot shower. Our cabins, and most of the lodge's rooms, have a balcony or porch. Once you take a small step through the big glass doors, which are almost in every room, and you'll see nothing but beautiful mountains and wilderness. There are several large cabins in the forest along the creek, where you can spend a romantic vacation you won't forget. We offer our guests basic European and Canadian meals, as well as gourmet dining. We offer many different and exciting activities including hiking, photo-safari, trail riding and ranch riding, gold panning, ATV and snowmobile tours, cross country skiing, fishing, and hiking along the trails or by the creek. As a guest, you can even take part in a cattle drive or round-up! For photographers, birdwatchers, and wildlife enthusiasts the lodge and the cabins are a dream come true. Here you will see bear, deer, moose, eagles, wolves, countless species of birds, and in winter you will hear the howl of the coyote. The Big Creek Lodge is a real working cattle ranch in the mountains of British Columbia. The ranch is operated in old style, like 100 years ago, and we run cattle on three big pastures. Here you still can see real western cowboying, we can't run the ranch without the horses and cowboys. The 3 ranges are more than 25,000 ha and consist of a true wilderness.
