Resorts
& Campsites:
There are no public campsites on Campbell and fishermen are
urged to respect the private property surrounding the lake.
Some camping may be allowed in privately owned land. All services
and accommodations can be found in the nearby city of Kamloops.
Fishing
Report: Managed as a quality water, Campbell offers
excellent rainbow fishing in the spring and fall months. During
the summer there is a heavy algae bloom on the lake. 2 lb. bows
are the norm in this fast action lake, however 5 lb. fish are
routinely caught. Occasionally trout that exceed 10 lbs. find
their way to some lucky fisherman's offering. Campbell is a
shallow but rich lake with good quantities of aquatic life.
Summer winds sometimes make fishing impossible, but when conditions
are right, this is definitely the lake you'll want to be on.

FScuitto
Lake - FScuitto Lake, located just west of Campbell,
is another shallow but very rich lake. Fishing is reported
to be much the same as Campbell. Is there any better reason
to try this lake? Hosli Lake is a small lake with a surface
area of 23 ha. (57 ac.) located south of Scuitto at an elevation
of 1180 m. (3870 ft.). 4x4 access is either from Scuitto Lake
in the north or from Roche Lake in the south. Hosli is managed
as a quality water and offers a fine rainbow fishery with
trout reaching 4-1/2 lbs. Spring and fall are the best months.
Cartop boats can be launced and there is a small undeveloped
area for camping.
Note:
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you
start fishing a new lake.
