Sicamous Creek Marina, home base for Admiral Houseboats, is just a few minutes south of Sicamous on Highway 97A. If you're a first time houseboaters you'll appreciate the quiet location on Mara Lake where you can get familiarized with the handling of a houseboat prior to heading into the beautiful waters of Shuswap Lake in the BC Okanagan. There's also lots of parking for your vehicle and a boat ramp where you can launch your personal boat. At Admiral Houseboats we pay insurance (after deductible), park fees and propane. That way gas and taxes are your only other expense, helping make budgeting your vacation easier.
* During the month of May enjoy fantastic fishing in the morning, boating in the afternoon and basking in your floating hot tub by night. * June sees relaxing warm sunshine and the peace of quiet on Mara Lake and Shuswap Lake * September there's the beautiful colours of fall and a chance to see the incredible Salmon Run. GOLFERS … bring your clubs because there are 5 golf courses around the lake - and some will pick you up from your boat!
Driving East or West on the Trans Canada (Highway #1): Turn south at the 97A junction. Follow 97A Highway 3 KM (about 2 miles) south. Watch for the blue lodging sign "Admiral Houseboats", turn right on Mervyn Road. We're just west of the Beachcomber Resort. Driving North from Vernon on 97A: Drive toward the north end of Mara Lake and watch for the blue lodging sign "Admiral Houseboats", turn left onto Mervyn Road (just over the Sicamous Creek bridge).

to Get To Sicamous Creek Marina
The
Shuswap Lake Area is approximately a 5 hour drive from Vancouver
or Calgary and a 7 hour drive from Edmonton and Seattle. Kelowna
International Airport is just 1.5 hours south with flights arriving
and departing daily serving Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Seattle
and many other cities (Limousine service available from/to airport).
